Past Life
Will I actually see a past life? Everyone's experience is unique. Some people notice images, sensations, feelings, intuitive impressions, or memories, while others may simply feel a sense of calm or curiosity. There is no right or wrong way to experience a session. It is best to flexible expectations.
What if I don't experience anything? That is completely normal. Not having a specific experience doesn't mean you aren't fully participating or benefiting. Subtle insights, new perspectives, or a sense of peace can arise without noticeable imagery or sensations.
What if I feel strong emotions during the session? Group sessions: focus on exploration rather than deep therapeutic work but some emotions may naturally surface. This is normal. You are encouraged to observe them with care, and take time afterwards to reflect. Individual sessions: if this happens I gently guided you through the experience using grounding techniques such as breathing. You are aware and in control the entire time.
Can sessions trigger trauma or upsetting memories? Group sessions: these sessions are designed as symbolic exploration (not therapy), so intense personal processing is less likely. If you have specific concerns, you may want to consider a private session instead. Individual session: occasionally emotions or memories can surface during a session, if this happens I gently guide you with grounding techniques and relaxation to ensure you feel safe and supported. Your subconscious will not take you to a harmful or unsafe place.
What if I can't "go into hypnosis"? Everyone can experience hypnosis to some degree. Some people enter a deep state, while others stay more alert. Even a light hypnotic state can produce meaningful experiences.
What if I am taking medications? Always disclose relevant medical or health information to the hypnosis facilitator. * Never change or alter your medications for a session without consulting your healthcare provider * Most medications are safe to take before a session, including prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. * If you are taking heavy sedatives, a hypnosis session is not recommended as it may reduce your ability to engage and focus. * If you have any concerns, its best to CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN before your first session.
What if I fall asleep? It is very unlikely that you will fall asleep in an INDIVIDUAL session as it is interactive and you will be speaking to me throughout the process. GROUP sessions are not interactive but most people remain aware and engaged as they follow the guidance. Showing up to any session well rested and alert will ensure you get the most out of your session.
Do I have to share my experience? Group session: No. There will be time after the session to share and comment but you can simply observe your guided journey without sharing anything. Individual session: you will be describing what you are noticing or experiencing as I guide you through the process. There is no pressure to explain things perfectly - simply sharing whatever feels natural.
Who should NOT do hypnosis? While hypnosis is safe for most people, it may not be appropriate for certain conditions. If you have any of the following, I MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT PRACTITIONER for you: *Schizophrenia *Severe autism *Bipolar disorder *Severe dissociation *Active suicidal thoughts or ideation *Use of heavy sedatives *Severe PTSD *Complex trauma *Borderline personality disorder *Severe panic disorders
Will I remember what happens? Yes. Most clients remember the session clearly. Hypnosis is a state of focused awareness - NOT unconsciousness - so you retain memory of the session.
Do I need prior experience with meditation or past life? No prior experience is needed, however if you have not experienced hypnosis and/or deep meditation, you may have misconceptions as to what hypnosis actually is/feels like which can make it harder to engage in the journey (some people spend more time questioning whether they are hypnotized and therefore can not relax fully).
How many sessions do I need? Some people find one session is enough to gain insight, while others choose multiple sessions to explore different questions/experiences.
Is past life regression real? People interpret past life regression in many different ways. Some believe its reveals memories from past lives, while others see it as the subconscious expressing meaningful symbols and stories. Either way, many people find the experience insightful and helpful for personal growth and self-understanding.
What if I'm scared of being hypnotized? If you have actual fears and are 'scared' to be hypnotized, then don't book a session. If you are nervous or skeptical, that's completely different - and normal. Many fears come from misconceptions about hypnosis - largely from watching stage/comedy hypnosis.
What if I am not visual? That's completely okay. Hypnosis isn't about forcing yourself to visualize, it's about using the abilities that come most naturally to you. Some people connect more through feelings, inner dialogue, sounds or simple awareness. Allow your natural strengths to guide the session. Please inform your hypnotist if you are not a visual person, this ensures the session is optimally structured for you.
Do sessions have to be in person? No. Sessions are just as effective online as they are in person, possibly more effective as you can relax in the comfort and safety of your own environment. PLEASE NOTE: online sessions require a quiet, safe space with little distractions.
Can everyone experience past life regression? Most people can experience some form of regression as long as they are open, relaxed and willing to follow the guidance. Everyone's experience is unique and there is no right or wrong way for it to unfold.
What if nothing happens? Everyone responds differently to relaxation and guided exploration. Even if the experience feels subtle or doesn't happen in an expected way, many people still gain insights, feelings, or perspectives that become meaningful after.
How do I know if I had a past life? Many people feel curious about past lives when they experience things like strong connections to certain places, unexplained fears, or patterns in relationships.
How do I know I am not making it up/imagining it? During regression, the subconscious may present information through imagination, feelings or symbolic images. Rather than focusing on whether its literal or symbolic, many people find that the insights and meaning from the experience are what matters most.
