Hypnosis for Overcoming Cravings and Addictions
Hypnosis can be a powerful tool to help you break free from smoking, vaping, alcohol, or cannabis, but it is important to understand that it is not a "magic pill." Your personal commitment is the most important part of the process.
What to Expect
Every person responds differently to hypnosis, and results vary from one individual to another:
-
Immediate Shifts: Some clients feel a significant change after just one session and are able to shift the habit or addiction right away.
-
Reinforcement: Others require additional sessions to help strengthen new habits, thought patterns, and coping strategies.
-
Both experiences are completely normal.
Why I Recommend Two Sessions
For the best results, I strongly recommend booking two sessions spaced about a week apart when committing to this change.
-
The First Session: Designed to begin shifting the subconscious patterns, cravings, and behaviors associated with the substance or habit.
-
The Follow-Up Session: Helps reinforce those changes, strengthen your motivation, and address any remaining triggers while your mind is actively processing the initial work.
Note: If you find you do not need the second session for your primary goal, we can use it as a general wellness reinforcement or apply it to a completely different topic.
The Key to Success
Hypnosis works best when you have a genuine desire and willingness to change. It cannot force you to stop if you are not personally ready or motivated. Clients who attend sessions only because they feel pressured by family, partners, or employers often experience limited or temporary results.
While hypnosis reduces cravings and supports a positive mindset shift, lasting success ultimately depends on the choices you make after you leave the session. Clients who approach this process with openness, consistency, and a sincere desire to be free from dependency always experience the best outcomes.
Your Next Steps
Before your first session, you will be asked to complete a detailed intake form about your routines, triggers, and emotional attachments to the substance. This information allows me to tailor your hypnosis session specifically to your unique history and needs.
You can find the intake form below.
Please note: While a two-session foundation is highly effective, many hypnotists recommend 3 to 6 sessions depending on your unique history, the strength of your automatic triggers, and how deeply the habit is tied to your stress management.
