Tips to get the most out of a session!
Arriving calm and centered is essential.
Stressful or anxious situations prior to your session can affect your energy, and the energetic connection during the session. The energy is sensitive and subtle and how we show up for a session matters.
Please AVOID rushing into your session feeling frantic, overwhelmed or disorganized. Take a few moments prior to the session to breathe, meditate or ground yourself. Set the intention to be present, open and gently invite your loved ones to come forward for the session.
1. Messages are not always literal.
Information is often received symbolically. Symbols may often represent memories, situations, personalities, shared experiences rather than direct literal events.
2. Evidence can point to others
When details come through, I may not always know who they are connected to. Sometimes evidence relates to to someone other than the most obvious person or the connection you want.
3. Avoid forcing a fit
It can be tempting to connect every piece of evidence to the one person you want to hear from most. However, loved ones may reference other individuals - both living and crossed over - as a part of their message.
4. Stay open to relevance
If a piece of evidence resonates in your life, remain open to it - even if you do not immediately understand how it connects to a specific loved one. Avoid dismissing evidence because you don't think it 'pertains to your loved one'.
5. Messages may relate to past, present or future
Evidence may reference events/memories from the past, current situations or things yet to unfold. Maintain openness to allow clarity to emerge naturally.
6. Validation often involves living people
Loved ones frequently bring up details about living individuals as a way of validating their presence and offering acknowledgment. They can also reference loved ones in spirit who are with them (and sometimes i am unsure if they are referencing the living or someone crossed over - remain open).
7. Thoughts and conversations COUNT
Evidence may relate to actions that have already occurred, but can also relate to recent conversations, intentions, and even thoughts about doing something.
8. Some information may lack
immediate context.
At times, messages come through in fragments. I may not fully understand their meaning, as they are not connected to my personal experiences.
9. Stay present
Overthinking, doubting and second guessing evidence can make it harder to remain present and receptive during your session. This also includes NOT scheduling your session on a day where you have something on your mind or something happening that will take your focus elsewhere.
10. Release expectations
The most open sessions occur when there are minimal expectations. Avoid comparing your experience to previous readings or sessions with other mediums. Each connection is unique.
11. Be open to the unexpected
Loved ones that you are not anticipating - and sometimes not wanting - may come through. Being overly focused on one specific loved one can unintentionally narrow your awareness to other meaningful connections.
12. They don't always answer your questions
Being attached to specific answers and outcomes can narrow the energy. Sometimes the answers you seek are not meant to known yet. I can't force them to answers questions if it is not for your highest good.
